AUDITION sIGN-uPSTuesday, May 7
Bel Canto Auditions 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM Music Posted Below. Please learn the vocal part that is most comfortable for your voice. All students will be in the room and will sing the song together in quartets with one person on a part (soprano I, soprano II, alto I, alto II). Memorization is not required. Wednesday, May 8 Entertainer/Advanced Entertainer Auditions 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM Music posted below. Please learn the vocal part that is most comfortable for your voice. All students will be in the room and will sing the song together in quartets with one person on a part (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). Memorization is not required. Please also be prepared to learn a brief choreography combination. If you are auditioning for vocal percussion, please learn the voice part that is best suited to your voice and also be prepared to demonstrate your beatboxing skills. *Remember a class schedule a teacher recommendations are required for these choirs. Concert Chorale - No Audition Required
We have two Concert Chorales that are open to all students of any gender on campus with no audition required. When you meet with your counselor, just indicate whether you would like to sing in the choir for treble voices (soprano/alto range) or lower voices (tenor/baritone/bass range).

This is our advanced women's ensemble. Students are required to learn a portion of "Poor Wayfaring Stranger" that can be found below. You may sing any part you would like and it does not need to be memorized. Be prepared to sing in trios (altos, pick the part that is best for you).

You may sing any part you would like and it does not need to be memorized. Be prepared to sing in quartets. Please be aware that Advanced Entertainers meets during 8th period and conflicts with sports.

For your individual audition you must also sing the CHORUS from any of the following songs. You will sing acapella in the key of your choosing, but be sure that you are singing in a key that shows off your power, style, and charisma. You can easily find these song online, so that you can choose the one that best fits your voice:

**Upon acceptance, students are given a packet of music to learn over the summer
and are expected to come prepared to sing on the first day of school on August 22, 2019.
Sheet music and practice recordings will be uploaded to the vocal music website under STUDENTS -> CHOIR NAME by June 22, 2019.
